Cheap Good Wine Finds

Recently I have started taking pictures of the wines that I have enjoyed from Trader Joe’s. This will help me to find them again the next time I go. Most of the wines posted are between $6-$8. I have yet to have the courage to try the two buck chuck. If you have tried it please let me know how it is!

A friend introduced me to this wine. It’s called L’Authentique. It is a nice smooth red table wine from France. I buy this one frequently

This one was a pleasant surprise. I honestly bought it because I liked the label. It turned out to be pretty good. It reminded me a lot of the fall. I thought it would go well with a pot roast.

This has been my go to white wine lately. I think the bottle is $4. It is great for summer. It’s not too sweet, but it’s a bit on the sweeter side.

This is wine is made specially for Trader Joe’s.I think the bottle was $5 or less. It’s rich and silky (at least that is what the bottle says), you can taste cherry after notes. I can imagine drinking this on a crisp fall night.

This was a big surprise. I expected it to be bad. It’s from the Loire Valley in France. The bottle was $5 so I immediately thought it was so going to be crap. I was pleasantly surprised.

Here are some other good finds from the past few months

This was a delicious very full bodies Cab. It was at Trader Joe’s as a trail and I was informed they weren’t sure if they were going to get more. I am not sure why, because it had gotten rave review. I just hope it is still there when I go next week.

All I remember about this bottle is that what a decent bottle of zin for the price.

We had this for Thanksgiving. It was a delicious Pinot Noir and I believe I didn’t pay more than $6 for the bottle.
